This project started in Brazil in the city of Salvador, providing education and culture to young people from the community of northeast Amaralina, Vale das Pedrinhas and surroundings, an area with high crime rates and a strong absence from the state. Through Capoeira Angola and complementary actions of the project Cidadania João e Maria, young people from the community were able to access the wealth present in the civilizing values of an Afro-Brazilian matrix.
Over time, the project has achieved impressive results in improving this disadvantaged community, contributing to the reduction of crime and the social integration of young participants. Due to the result and efficiency, the program was extended to other regions of Salvador, Brazil and other countries.

Greetings community and friends of CEDANZE AJPP-CECA,
We are asking for a donation so that we can collectively renovate our academy, the official headquarters of CEDANZE AJPP-CECA, which is located in the community of Vale das Pedrinhas in Salvador Bahia.
In addition to our activities, every Friday we present traditional Capoeira Angola and Samba de Roda for free!
Just like our home, our academy needs care and maintenance.

When the refrigerator and the plate are full, life is light, easy and happy!
Our solidarity action aims to help families in situations of social vulnerability in our community.
Donating food is a way of supplementing the subsistence of vulnerable families and giving the beneficiaries peace of mind so that they can go on to find work and no longer need help!
We won’t be together at mealtimes, but it’s a good feeling when we renew the hope of families who have one or more children and have an empty refrigerator and nothing to put on the table!
Contributors can donate one or more basic food baskets or money to buy them. Donors can contact our team who will be happy to listen and provide more information if necessary!

It is a project that, through Afro-Brazilian civilizational values, especially Capoeira Angola under the technique of the teacher, master, Doctor João Pequeno de Pastinha, enables children, pre-adolescents and adolescents to access citizenship, and have access to democracy, guaranteeing their civil, political and social rights and the equality of individuals before the law, belonging to an organized society!
