Capoeira workshop, children’s show, sharing of knowledge, recognition of the competence of students from our school, Vadiação de Capoeira Angola, sightseeing tour and a dinner in a restaurant with the guests!
The EVENT was more than a closing of the year of our school in the city of Paris – France.
It symbolized the result of a socio-cultural work of CEDANZE – AJPP-CECA carried out in Latin America and Europe through our team of teachers, tréneos and monitors coordinated by Master Faísca, where we aim to keep alive our ancestral transmission line: African Master Benedito, Master Pastinha and Master João Pequeno de Pastinha!
PEDAGOGY of Master Faísca
Using his experience and competence, Master Faísca has made it possible for students, regardless of age, nationality or gender, to discover the richness of Afro-Brazilian civilizational values.
He has endeavored to perfect the teaching pedagogy of Master João Pequeno de Pastinha’s technique, to facilitate children and adults to develop their musical skills and body expressions in Capoeira Angola in a pleasurable and efficient way. He is pleased with the results!
His anthropological vision
In an anthropological view master Faísca understands that children, being natural, devoid of certain concepts, without haste to obtain a final result and open to learning, easily understand the musical richness, body expression and secrets contained in traditional Capoeira Angola, which was preserved in its essence by: “teacher, master and doctor João Pequeno de Pastinha”!
Collectivism and cooperativism with mutual respect, is one of the important tools of Afro-Brazilian civilizational values maintained by mestre Faísca within CEDANZE – AJPP-CECA, and we have perpetuated it with partner institutions, and with friends of the struggle and resistance against the oppression of the degrading system!
One day mestre João Pequeno de Pastinha told me: “Faísca, from Capoeira you can remove everything: the show, theater, psychology, union, entertainment, discipline, friendship, etc… but if you take away one element, it ceases to be Capoeira Angola!”
